What does the symbol mean in a lighting plan?

It means if you can't find it with google, someone's either screwing with you or they're making stuff up.

Just guessing. Three Pole Interrupt Switch, Three Phase Interrupt Switch?

The arrow could indicate a signal ground (not a real ground)

My best uneducated guess is it's a switch for lighting.

Doesn't the wiring diagram have a legend of some sort? Why not ask the creator of the diagram? What country is this in?

Also, you can search with images - https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/1325808?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform=Desktop
Google doesn't like my VPN or the app being disabled so...

Country is Costa Rica. I found out that the three hashes mean three conductors (typical AC triplex). "TPIS/04" means what panel it comes from and what position number.

The strange part is that this symbol is used on many standard AC lighting circuits but not on others. I never got a good explanation as to why some and not others. All are 3 conductor circuits.
