Victron MPPT RS 100A error 200

Poo poo Victron all you like because they're too expensive. The fact remains that they're an engaged and accessible organization that takes pride in what they do and want to deliver VALUE.

How many companies have upper management (owners/family of founders) actively engaging the public in support issues as well as active development of new features?

I think the answer is one.

Totally agee. These two SCCs, are the first step in migrating away from MPP-Solar.
Had some issues with the Mpp-solars units and decided to move to a more reliable brand.
This whole experience speeds up my confidence in Victron and the planned migration. First Multiplus is on its way now.

Will keep one of the Mpp-solars as reserve for the remaining one, but when the budget allows, i will replace the other one for a Multiplus as well.

Victron is providing an amazing service.
They will ship the replacements to me, while I still can use the current ones.
All based on trust and my promise that I will ship the units, to be replaced, back to the Netherlands and the distributor.

This is just amazing!!!
They shipped My replacement today, never did they ask for my old unit back. I will send it back if they want It though.

Victron fully credited us for all of our stock of 450/100's in the affected range. We had quite a few of them...

They instructed us to destroy them...for example, "use a hammer on the LCD".

I'm dying inside a bit as a result...but the good thing is they caught it before distribution has sent them to customers as well. As a distributor, Victron takes care of us like no other company does.

Rant below...yes, I get on a tangent...sensitive audiences please don't read
This "too expensive" argument is getting old...guys feed off others that say it's too expensive and it really isn't. Last price change, they dropped the price of their inverters pretty significantly...Can anyone show me a 12v 3kva low frequency inverter inverter that can do what the multiplus-2 2x120 can with their transfer switches and powerassist, with an equal idle draw for less money. Funny enough, AIMS makes a similar price inverter with DIP switches for the setting that can't even set low-voltage disconnect high enough for most LiFePO4 batteries...let alone start up a BMS that is in low-voltage protection like a Victron can. And about the powerassist? The aims can assist you at dissipating your power into it's transformer as heat!

When I put a 3kVA inverter in my RV, it cost me $950 for the Chinese "any power combi". I regularly overloaded my Honda EU3000 charging batteries and running some loads. It was NOT possbile to run A/C with gen running because it always instantly overloaded the generator. A comparable Victron is $1346 and will assist the generator, adjusting charging or even inverting to meet the demands of the load. A/C and microwave on generator? NO PROBLEM. For $400 the Victron is worth every penny and watt that you get out of it.

This would make for a great video ;)
well, the video I am tempted to make is "What happens if you exceed 450v on the input"

My bench power supply only goes up to 500v, so that may not reach the damage point...may have to put in series with the 60v to get up to 560v.

Has anybody isolated the component failure causing the #200 error?

I am out of commission until the replacements for my two units arrive.
