I sort of miss the local Radio Shack. There were times that I really needed some electronic part and sometimes they had it. Unfortunately, by the time they folded the local store it was more of a remote control toy and cell phone store than a source for DIY electronic parts.

Basically it's a monthly box for a parent/child to assemble that teaches some aspect of science. They break them down by age-groups. Not sure if they're worth it, but figured it was at least worth sharing. If you've experience with them let us know.
